BBTelsys Announces Support for Cisco Wireless-G Bridge for IP Phones and Phone Adapters

GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. — June 4, 2010 — BBTelsys™ announced a new product today which makes connecting VoIP phones and adapters anywhere within a building or home easier and hassle free. The Cisco® WB54G Wireless-G Bridge has been certified to work with the BBTelsys telecom service; the BBTelsys or Cisco Linksys internet adapters; and IP phones from Cisco, Polycom®, and Aastra®. This small Cisco device is designed to convert devices normally hard-wired through Ethernet jacks into receiving the internet signal via a WiFi signal. It therefore makes your IP phone, or adapter, portable with the ability to place wherever you have WiFi access, without worrying about proximity to data lines, or running additional wires and outlets. In some cases, BBTelsys can supply an internet adapter that along with the Cisco Bridge product, can share the same AC power adapter. Anywhere you have power and WiFi access you will be able to make and receive VoIP calls. The Cisco Bridge is priced at $45 and works with any phone plan from BBTelsys.
