Sorry, it has been a while
I have been so busy working on the website I did not have any leftover time to update our blog :(
Luckily the website demands have slowed down a little, and by the way if you haven't checked out the new bbtelsys.com YOU NEED TO! I spent all that time on it for you.......the customer. It is much more simple and easy to navigate. You want to buy residential service?....there is no more run-around, simply click "how to buy residential service". Nifty huh?
So I know in the past I tried to make new creative posts every once in a while, but this will not fall into that category. I need to reacquaint myself with Blogger before I can pull some tricks out of the hat. With that being said, I would expect a very unique update next week. It will be my last week at BBTelsys for the year as I am shipping off to school. Now before you shed tears I want you to know I am leaving the blog in good hands. BBTelsys has really updated its staff in the past year. It's amazing what a couple new people can do for a company.
If you haven't heard already we have this fly new softphone application for iPads, iPods, and iPhones that allows our customers to call from any of those devices while in a wi-fi hot spot. The app is completely free after reimbursement from BBTelsys. They are great for international traveling, because it does not matter where you are located the incoming call will always come in as your customized number. Meaning when you call someone from your softphone it can seem as if your are calling from your home, office, or whatever you would like. People will never know you left the office hahaha.
Better check it out and stay ahead of the curve. If you have any questions, do not shy away from calling BBTelsys at 877-511-5688, and I will pick up.

BBTelsys Announces Voice as a Service Phone Support for Apple iPad and iPod
GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. — July 21, 2010 — BBTelsys™ announced its business-class Voice as a Service (VaaS) offering now supports Apple® iPad™ and iPod® mobile devices using CounterPath®’s Bria application. These devices can now additionally have phone service that integrates with other business or residential telephones for flexibility and mobility. This cloud-based phone service offering broadens BBTelsys delivery for Fixed Mobile Convergence (FMC) services and allows customers to coordinate more than one phone device into a single solution utilizing simultaneous ringing, access to one voice mailbox, single office appearance, and a breadth of communication services in a unified manner. iPad and iPod voice service can also be purchased as an independent hosted phone service to supplement a customer’s other phone services. Calls over an iPad may assist with reducing cell-based calling costs when within WiFi access areas.
Current testing has proved excellent voice quality on either the iPad or iPod with the Bria software. The software app is available through the Apple store for the low price of $7.99. Due to device limitations, the phone application has to be activated and within an accessible WiFi area in order to receive calls. It does not therefore fit all situations for receiving calls.
Voicemails can be easily checked and responded to in an efficient manner with the software and BBTelsys service.
U.S. and International customers can order the BBTelsys service for their iPad over the web. The BBTelsys price for making it an extension to an existing service plan is $2.95 per month. The cost of a new independent BBTelsys hosted service plan, including a U.S. phone number, starts at $9.99 per month and higher depending upon services and included minutes of monthly usage.

Marketing Ideas
I sat pondering at the park beside the stream on a gorgous yesterday afternoon. Before my eyes summer was dusting a new life over all of nature, the bunnies were hopping, the birds were singing, and the fish were swimming upstream. I was thinking about marketing ideas for the company when suddenly it came to me. I sat straight up and belted, "Have people tattoo themselves for a discounted phone service rate." Of course this would work, it is a low cost, lifetime investment. It benefits both sides fairly; the tattooee gets his/her discount on phone service, gets a brand new beautiful tattoo, and is able to show off their favorite VoIP phone company. BBTelsys would be willing to give up to 10% off a month for a tattoo, depending on the size, quality, and color. Face tattoos (Mike Tyson style) would save substantially more. As this idea developed in my head I became stupified that more people didn't already have the BBT tattoo, even though we just now are starting to discount for it. It is an angelic design that would fit flawlessly across the back or chest of a equally stunning person. And what current customer would not want to wear the logo of the best VoIP telephony service in existance? With all of these great reasons to get the tat we would have to put a time limit on the offer; otherwise hundreds of thousands of people would tattoo the logo onto themselves and it would loose it's touch. So jump on the new fad before it is too late and get a BBTelsys tattoo today. I even posted an example below to give to your artist for inspiration. Email stevec@bbtelsys.com for more information about how much you can save today!

The BBT Bandage
The other day I was at a CVS killing time. After flipping through all of the eye-catching magazines and examining the personal hygiene section, I stumbled into the "Adhesive Bandage" aisle. There were bandage boxes and gauze rolls as far as the eye could see. The first genre of bandages were the familiar slug-like shaped bandages. The kind that has a sticky underside with a small square fabric pad to soak up blood; great for fingers and small cuts. The slug shaped bandages came in foam, plastic, sheer, clear, and fabric. They came in SpongeBob, Scooby Doo, Barbie, Spiderman, tropical, and original. Then there was a section for active lifestyles slug bandages, containing waterproof, and extra durable versions. Needless to say I was overwhelmed, and I hadn't even inspected the butterfly, large pads, gauze, waterblock, toe stickems, blister spot pads, or variety packs of bandages. All of these choices reminded me of VoIP phone companies. How could one protect themselves from being overwhelmed?....narrow down the choices. Is the choice based on price?...do I simply scan the price tags for the cheapest bandage pack and hope it works? Or do I go with the bandages that cost a little more but guarantee success? If BBTelsys were a bandage it would be the brand that comes in a tin box, the kind that has a big soft gauze pad on it. On the back of the tin would be a number of a REAL person you could call to learn how to apply it on. You would know this person by name, and if he/she could they would drive out to you and apply the bandage. Except you do not have to get in your car for BBTelsys, it is the click of a mouse away @ www.BBTelsys.com or a phone call away @1-877-511-5688. If BBTelsys were a bandage it would heal your cut 99% of the time, be easy to use, and it would be waterproof, invisible, scented, and resilient all at the same time. If BBTelsys were a bandage it would refuse to come unstuck in the shower, yet when the wound was healed and the BBTelsys bandage had to come off, it would unexpectedly peel off with ease and without pain, like a fried egg on a greased pan. So when it comes to making the choice for a VoIP provided think not only about the instant rewards like being a few cents cheaper, but the long term perks of an efficient and sound business that truly cares about their customers.
